Research

• Paramita Ghosh has completed her M. Phil from Central University, Hyderabad in the year 2003, the title of the research work was “Adventure at the Threshold: A Comparative Study of Pioneering Representation of Girl- Woman Protagonists in Bankim Chandra Chatterjee and Richard Jefferies.”
• Paramita Ghosh submitted a Research Dissertation in aspiration of the degree of Ph.D. from the North Bengal University and was awarded the same in 2013. The Title of the submitted Thesis Paper, registered under the North Bengal University on 2006, reads “ Travel writing in the novels of V. S. Naipaul and Amitav Ghosh: A selective study.”
• Paramita Ghosh has completed a Minor Research Project under UGC sponsorship [UGC reference number F.PHW 146/09-10 (ERO). The Title of the proposal reads “Imperialism Through the Traveller’s Eye in the Novels of V. S. Naipaul and Amitav Ghosh: A Selective Study”.
