IGNOU Study Center
There is a special Study Center of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) which provides opportunities for higher education in non-formal mode to the students who have been deprived of formal education but are desirous of improving their academic career. The drop-outs have got a golden chance to complete their education through IGNOU. Hundreds of students have already received good, rather excellent marks in their own fields through Distance Education. The college provides distance education in various subjects for the students who could not complete their education through regular courses. The following courses are offered in this Study Centre.
BPP (Bachelor Preparatory Program)
To get admitted in this new course there is no need of acquiring previous formal educational qualification. Any one can sit in this BPP course. The main advantage of this course is that after completing this BPP, one becomes eligible to appear in the degree level examination. Hence this course has become popular among students who could not complete formal education at the degree level course.
CLP (Computer Literacy Program)
This course has been introduced to help the poor students of the region because it requires a small fee and within a short period (Three month course) one can learn the application of computer.
